WYNCOTE, Pa. (WPVI) -- As we celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday, one Montgomery County son is putting his own music dreams on hold and everything on the line to do something special for his mom.

They share the same birthday and the same passion for a good cup of joe.

And now, this mom and son share a very unique, very REAL coffee shop in Wyncote, Pennsylvania.

Hip hop mom Jean Savage rocks her neon pants and represents for her son, Sean, a Philadelphia recording artist who goes by the stage name Real.

Today the mother-son duo are bringing a real community coffee house to Wyncote inspired by a family tradition.

"Our thing was Sunday, we would go to grab coffee from somewhere and the thing was we had to go so far to get good coffee," says Sean "Real" Savage.

He adds, "We would travel to the main line or Center City."

So they created The REAL Marketplace - a coffee, convenience and consignment concoction.

"You have a corner here where people can grab a coffee and do some shopping, yes and most of this stuff came from my house," says Jean.

Jean has been working in healthcare for more than 40 years and Real says this is for her so she can get that coffee that keeps her moving and grooving.

And he loves that he can give mom this gift of relaxation and eventually, retirement.

"I would say within a months time we will have mom kicking back in one of those chairs back there full time," said Real.

And if you're up for some real home cooking, Jean makes quite the quiche!

There's nothing like mom's cooking and you can have Real's mom's real cooking here.

Jean is still working as the manager of transfusion services at Nazareth Hospital.

She's at REAL Marketplace in her spare time and on weekends and she's also cooking for the gourmet kitchen there.

So while it doesn't seem she will slow down and time soon, she does have a place to retire to.
