Parents turn teen in for sexting

Police say parents of a 13-year-old girl turned her in for sexting naked selfies to boys.

The Virginia teen's mother, says she caught her daughter on the phone around 4:30 a.m.

She then called police when she found naked pictures and some shocking texts from much older boys.

The parents hoped calling police would scare their daughter and protect her. The parents do not want to be identified.

The teen could face charges but a prosecutor said she would most likely have to undergo counseling.
