GIBBSBORO, N.J. (WPVI) --The Force was strong with this wedding in Gibbsboro, New Jersey!
Boba Fett and Princess Leia were married in front of family and friends including Darth Vader, Yoda, Han Solo and Chewbacca at Lakeside Manor on Saturday, May 14th.
Actually, it was the wedding of Heather and Robert Lowther, but they went to great lengths to make sure it looked like everyone and everything came from a galaxy far, far away.
Heather, as Princess Leia, wore a custom-made gown and Robert was under Boba Fett's helmet.
Arizzi Photography and Designprovided the images on behalf of the newlyweds.
Heather's mom, Sharon, passed along the details about the cast of characters:
Mom and Dad were dressed as Darth Vader and Queen Padme Amidala.
The groomsmen, Ryan Clark, Nick Thiffault, Carlos Baltizar, and David Brace were dressed as Storm Troopers.
The bridesmaids, Maggie Brace, Katie Brace, Portia Lowther, and Ashley Brennan, carrying lightsaber-filled bouquets.
Her Uncle Kevin Walsh agreed immediately to marry them as Obi-Wan Kenobi and her cousin, Cooper Ceballos, was the ring bearer - dressed as Yoda - and guarded the ring in a Death Star!
Heather's cousins, Kyle and Cory Walsh, jumped at the chance to dress up in character to usher guests to their seats as Han Solo and Chewbacca.
A custom made Star Wars-themed aisle runner led the way down the aisle.
Guests were told Star Wars costumes were encouraged if they wanted and, if not, that was okay too! They were encouraged to have fun, play, and share the day with Heather and Rob.
The event was decorated with handmade centerpieces, fun Star Wars character masks, and a big basket of light sabers.
Storm Trooper nerf guns were on hand and, for take home goodies, a Star Wars-themed candy bar.
Throughout the ceremony guest could be found engaging in light saber battles on the dance floor, shooting nerf guns at each other, trying on the Storm Trooper and Darth Vader masks, and just having a blast being kids again!
