VIDEO: Hero mailman saves toddler from choking

GREER, S.C. (WPVI) -- The mail arrived just in time for a mother in South Carolina.

That's because the mailman saved 11-month-old Eli Cooper when he was choking.

The little boy had put a plastic wrapper in his mouth and it got stuck.

When his mother ran out of the house for help, mailman Chris Brown was just walking up.

Within seconds, Brown did the Heimlich maneuver to dislodge the wrapper.

He says he's not a hero, just someone who was trying to help.
