One company claims you can now get the perfect products without ever stepping foot in a store, thanks to new technology.

A new app called Plum Perfect says it uses color science to make your makeup selection fool proof.

The first step is to snap a selfie!

"We extract your colors and we find your perfect makeup match," said Asmau Ashmed, CEO and founder of Plum Perfect.

The app gives you a list of products perfect for you in a variety of prices and from a number of different beauty brands and retailers.

They say they use intelligent recommendation engines to find your perfect matches -- and the app even accounts for the lighting in the room where you snapped your picture.
