Father speaks after children murdered allegedly by fiancee

The father of the two children murdered last week, allegedly by his fiancee, and the mother of one of those children spoke to Action News.

Victor Epelle was behind bars on immigration related issues back on October 16.

And that's when police say his fiancee, Kula Pelima, killed his sons, 5-year-old Alex and 4-month-old Solomon Epelle.

Pelima was Solomon's mother.

She called police earlier that day, expressing fear over her own immigration status.

Victor told us she cracked under the fear that she may be put in prison.

"Its only when I was taken away from my situation, my family situation, that's just like I suspected, it was too much for her to handle," he said.

A preliminary hearing for Kula Pelima is set for October 31.
