Saving with 6abc: Big sale for Philly sports fans

South Philadelphia (WPVI) -- The concourses at the Wells-Fargo Center are filled with boxes of sports merchandise, as Philadelphia's four biggest pro sports teams gear up for a giant sale this weekend.

Rebecca Goodman of the Wells Fargo Center explains, "If you are a Philadelphia sports fan, this is where you want to be on Saturday. From 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., we have up to 90% savings of every team in the city. Phillies, Flyers, Eagles, Sixers. Something for every fan."

The sale will be held both on the floor of the center, and in the Fan Zone shop, where every item in the store will be 50% off. That deal even covers Flyers authentic jerseys -- including those of the most popular current players.

Goodman says, "The jerseys do not go on sale very often. The jerseys that we have here at the Fan Zone store retail around $200 and they will be 50% off on Saturday."

But whether you're shopping for baby onsies, kids clothes, jackets, t-shirts, hoodies or caps, you're sure to find something for every sports fan you know. And it's a great time to think ahead and do some early holiday shopping.

Doors open at 10 a.m., but you might want to get there early to get in line. The sale ends promptly at 4:00 p.m.
