Fire damages home in West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia

WEST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- A quick-moving fire damaged two homes in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia.

The fire started around 12:30 a.m. Friday on the 1300 block of East Price Street.

When firefighters arrived, thick smoke was showing from the second floor of a row home.

Action News is told the smoke was so thick at one point that firefighters had to pull back.

They were eventually able to get the upper hand.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators are working to determine how the fire started.
