Move over Starbucks and soft drink machines because beer taps are being installed in gas stations and grocery stores nationwide.

Draft beer taps where customers can fill 64-ounce containers called growlers have been installed in gas stations, grocery stores and other retailers.

One of the big players is Irvine-based Growler Station located in Southern California.

It has locations in Texas, New York, Alaska and Idaho, but none in California because it's not legal.
