Australian man checks single beer can as luggage on flight

MELBOURNE, Australia (WPVI) -- An Australian man only packed the essentials when checking his luggage at an airport in Melbourne.

The passenger named Dean only checked one can of Emu Export lager.

He sent it through baggage check with just the luggage tag sticker and surprisingly, the can made it all the way to Perth safe and sound.

The can could be seen rounding the baggage carousel all alone, but intact.

Dean said he hatched the plan with his friend who works at the airport as a joke.

He joked that was prepared to file a lost luggage report if the can didn't turn up.
