McDonald's introduces cell phone lockers
McDonald's introduces cell phone lockers. Jeannette Reyes reports during Action News at 6 a.m. on October 17, 2017.

McDonald's has a new way to get families to put down the phone and enjoy a family meal.

The fast food chain recently introduced cell phone lockers at one of its branches in Singapore.

The lockers are free.

They allow diners to take a break from the virtual world and have real conversations over meals.

McDonald's says it is gathering feedback at the restaurant before deciding whether to expand the service.
