HOUSTON (WPVI) -- Nearly one million pounds of breaded chicken items are being recalled due to a possible contamination.

OK Food Inc. is recalling the chicken after some customers found metal objects in their food. Several brands are part of the recall, including Walmart's Great Value.

According to a press release, the problem was discovered on March 21 after five consumers complained about the metal objects. After an investigation, inspectors identified the objects as ones from a conveyor belt.

"There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider," the press release read.
