NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- At the home of Mary and Dave Hatfield, 28 family members and one English bulldog named Jake gathered for a traditional Thanksgiving feast in Northeast Philadelphia.

Action News reporter Dann Cuellar described the atmosphere at the Hatfield's as something like a scene from Home Alone at Christmas where everybody's running around all over the house, and stuff is going.

One thing was clear - including the dog - was hungry and ready to eat.

"We have turkey, we have white meat, dark meat. We have a 30-pound turkey, lots of mash potatoes," said Mary Hatfield. "I could eat (potatoes) every day."

Everybody pitched in, contributing something to the table, and what a feat - but not before grace.

"And we ask that you just continue to bless this big, crazy, loving family with good health, happiness and much love, and we ask all of this in the name of Jesus' name. Amen," said Mary Hatfield.

And yes, the Hatfield's were certainly counting their blessings this Thanksgiving, and looking forward to the holiday season.

Dann thanked the Hatfield's for welcoming us into their home, and we want to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving!
