Every year, the Center for Science in the Public Interest studies 2,000 menu items at major chain restaurants for its Xtreme Eating Awards.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WPVI) -- We know some chain restaurants have meals that aren't very healthy.

But some dishes go above and beyond unhealthy.

Every year, the Center for Science in the Public Interest studies 2,000 menu items at major chain restaurants for its Xtreme Eating Awards.

Check out who made the 2015 list -

The center tried Red Lobster's 'Create Your Own' combination and calls it a "nutritional shipwreck."

The three shrimp dishes, Caesar salad, and one biscuit came to 2,710 calories and 6,500 milligrams of sodium - that's 4 days worth of sodium!

Washing it down with a Lobsterita 24-ounce cocktail will add another 890 calories.

From Sonic, they looked at the Pineapple Upside Down Master Blast.

Its 32-ounces of vanilla ice cream, pineapple, pie crust, and whipped cream has more than 2,020 calories, and 61 grams of saturated fat, roughly the same as eating FOUR Dairy Queen Banana Splits.

For barbecue lovers, the group checked out the 3-Meat Plate from Dickey's Barbecue Pit.

With a combo of Polish sausage, pork ribs, and beef brisket - plus fried onion Tanglers, mac and cheese, a roll, and 32-ounce sweet tea (It's the only size offered), this meal will set you back 25-hundred calories.

And it has 4,700 milligrams of sodium, just like eating 3 Big Macs and 5 vanilla cones, says the CSPI.

The group says hitting 2,000 calories used to be unusual on their survey, however, they said they were able to easily find 9 dishes that did it.

"Abnormal is the new normal," said CSPI registered dietitian Paige Einstein.

Here's how some other dishes on the list weighed in:

-IHOP's Chorizo Fiesta Omelette - alone, it has 1,300 calories. But it comes with 3 pancakes (or hash browns, toast, or fruit). It is 1,990 calories with 42 grams of saturated fat.

-From the Cheesecake Factory, the Louisiana Chicken Pasta delivers 2,370 calories and 80 grams of saturated fat. That's a 4-day supply of fat.

-The Herb Roasted Prime rib at Outback Steakhouse delivers 2,400 calories and a whopping 71 grams of saturated fat.

The requirement to put calories on the menu at chain-restaurants is due to take effect in December.
