CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A report of a man with a gun brought police to a Thomas Jefferson University Hospital building in Center City Philadelphia Wednesday morning.
It happened at after 10:30 a.m. at the Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience at 9th and Walnut Streets.
The hospital tells Action News a family was visiting a loved one in the building and hospital personnel discovered one of the family members was carrying a gun.
It turns out the man did have a permit, but the hospital has a no weapons policy and so police were called.
Officers investigated, then escorted the man off the property.
There was no word if charges would be filed.
