MEADOWBROOK, Pa. (WPVI) -- It's tough to beat the sister act of two Northeast Philadelphia women.
Melissa Panto and Shannon Lynch gave birth to baby daughters just 5 hours apart on Monday.
Lynch's due date was last week, and Panto wasn't due till tomorrow.
But while Lynch was being induced on Monday, Panto went into labor, although at first, she didn't realize it.
"I left and went to my doctor's appointment, and he said baby was almost ready to come out," says Panto.
Lynch says with a smile, "We always joked about it possibly happening, but we never really thought it would."
The sisters look forward to raising their daughters together.
"We'll have some fun birthday parties, some cool things, and i'm sure they'll grow up & be best friends," says Panto.
Baby Avery is Panto's second child; Vaida jane is lynch's third child.
