It's now easier for pre-teens to get the HPV vaccine.

It's now easier for pre-teens to get the HPV vaccine.

Government health officials say for kids under age 14, two doses of the vaccine works just as well as three. The recommendation had been for three doses within six months.

The vaccine is recommended at age 11 or 12 to help protect against cervical cancer.

Three doses are still recommended for kids who haven't received their first shot by 15.
