Researchers discover protein to help fight breast cancer
British researchers have found a promising new avenue in fighting breast cancer.

British researchers have found a promising new avenue in fighting breast cancer.

They've discovered a protein they call L-O-X which is a key to helping cancerous cells spread.

And they've also created a prototype drug which slows down the protein in mice.

In the lab, it also showed no major side effects.

The researchers hope to create a similar drug for humans, and get it into trials in the next few years.
