Study: Grandparents can be a health hazard
Study: Grandparents can be a health hazard. Tamala Edwards reports during Action News at 5 a.m. on November 15, 2017.

It may be hard to believe, but a new study finds grandparents can be a potential health hazard for children.

The study says it's because grandparents are more likely to overindulge children by giving them too much food and allowing them to skip exercise.

Researchers in Britain found that even though grandparents meant well, they had an adverse effect.

In fact, in many cases, grandparents rewarded good behavior with sweet treats.

But good luck stopping grandparents from spoiling their favorite people on the planet.
