Tetanus concerns following Hurricane Harvey

People going into the water with a cut, or who got a cut going through the water, are at risk.

Some residents took advantage of the vaccinations.

All adults should have a booster shot of the tetanus vaccine every 10 years, but many people are not up to date.

The Texas Health Department is sending extra supplies of the vaccine to the flood area.
