On Thursday, we got a look at video of Eric Sorto - who is paralyzed in his arms and legs - grabbing and drinking his first beer using a robotic arm.
That arm is controlled by his mind.
We have seen similar technology before but this one is controlled by a device implanted in the part of the brain that's responsible for intuitive thought.
The researchers at Cal-Tech and the University of Southern California, say this allows for smoother movement.
