The temperature is rising, but it isn't the only thing heating up this July as the Mann's summer concert series gets into full swing. John Legend, Sara Bareilles, Josh Groban and Marvin Sapp are just a few of the names audiences will get to enjoy this summer as the Mann Center for the Performing Arts continues a season chockfull of entertainment.

Catherine Cahill, President and CEO of the Mann, says the word is out-with improvements to the Main House, a brand new Skyline stage, fine dining and slopping lawns, it's a brand new Mann.

"It's something like Central Park where there's a wonderful stage with the most magnificent skyline views, second to none in the entire country."

And if you're in the mood for an outdoor movie, the Philadelphia Orchestra has you covered, playing the film scoresto Westside Story, Gladiator and Star Trek while you watch the movies on two jumbo LED screens.

"What you will experience is the movie as you know it, but with all the music stripped out and the orchestra plays it live so it brings to life a whole different movie concert going experience that we think is very exciting and we believe audiences will as well," says Cahill, who adds that The Mann and the Philadelphia Orchestra are also partnering with local station WRTI for a People's Choice inspired concert.

"We will be playing very popular music every morning and people will get to pick what they like most, go on our website and vote for their most popular music, so in fact the concert will be programmed by our audience."

Performances by Phish, Brand New, Lorde and several free concerts help round out the summer season.

"You're coming to a destination," says Cahill, "we have all of the ambience, all of the experience and we hope now all of the elements that will make your night memorable."
