Terrifying letters have forced a Union County, New Jersey family to flee their new home.

UNION COUNTY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Terrifying letters have forced a Union County, New Jersey family to flee their new home.

According to a lawsuit filed against the previous owners, the new owners say they are being watched in the Westfield house after paying $1.3 million for the "dream home."

Since moving in, the owners say they've received several letters from a mysterious person.

They claim the previous owners were aware of this man who calls himself "the watcher" but never said anything.

The family has several children, and in the letters, the man asked, "have they found what's in the walls yet?"
