It happened as they were fighting a fire on Mantua Avenue Saturday night.

MANTUA (WPVI) -- Two firefighters were injured battling a blaze in Philadelphia's Mantua section.

The fire broke out at 7:30 p.m. inside a vacant building in the 3200 block of Mantua Avenue.

It took crews about 30 minutes to get the upper hand.

Two firefighters were taken to Hahnemann University Hospital to be treated for injuries said to be minor.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
