Investigators raid Delaware County health care facility

DARBY BOROUGH, Pa. (WPVI) -- An investigation is underway into a Delaware County health care facility.

Agents from the Pennsylvania attorney general's office joined Darby Borough Police in raiding the St. Francis Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in the 1400 block of Lansdowne Avenue.

Investigators were seen through the day Wednesday carrying away boxes of materials.

Neither agency has commented on the reason for the raid.

Action News has learned the facility has been cited in the past for failing to adequately care for its residents.
