KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A lockdown has been lifted at a high school in Philadelphia's Kensington section after police received reports earlier in the day of a gun inside the building.

It happened at Mastbaum High School, located on the 3100 block of Frankford Avenue.

Philadelphia police say around 1:30 p.m. Monday they received reports of a gun inside the school. The school was promptly placed on lockdown.

Chopper 6 flew over the scene around 2:30 p.m. and captured video of at least a dozen police vehicles outside the school.

Around 3:30 p.m. authorities lifted the lockdown without incident.

So far, no word on if anything was found.
