Montco police officer struck by car

Officials said a Towamencin Township Police officer was struck by a car Tuesday.

It happened around 9 p.m. on South Valley Forge Road and Garfield Avenue.

Authorities said the officer was taken to the hospital with not life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
