Police say more than $17,000 worth of electronics, including several iPads and computers, were stolen from a Catholic school in West Philadelphia.

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say more than $17,000 worth of electronics, including several iPads and computers, were stolen from a Catholic school in West Philadelphia.

It happened sometime between 10:00 p.m. Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. Thursday.

Officers responded to the St. Ignatius Roman Catholic School in the 600 block of North 43rd Street on Thursday morning.

The school's principal told police that someone broke into the downstairs offices and a upstairs classroom, getting away with more than $17,000 worth of items.

Authorities say 30 iPads, 3 laptops and 2, Mac computers were among the items stolen.

No word on any possible suspects.
