Action News says farewell to a colleague

Action News says farewell to a longtime colleague and friend, Alan Miceli.

He is retiring after more than 23 years at Action News.

Alan joined the team way back in 1991 as a bureau chief in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

He then moved to the assignment desk.

But Alan made his biggest impact right here on the morning show as a producer where he is known for his knack for writing.

We have known for a while that this day was coming and it didn't make it any easier.

Alan, you will be missed.

We know you are looking forward to spending more time with your family, including your eight-month-old grandson Kai.

So for all you have done at Action News, Alan Miceli, thanks.
