A shootout at a North Philadelphia rooming house has left one man dead and another critically wounded.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A shootout at a North Philadelphia rooming house has left one man dead and another critically wounded.

The shooting occurred just after 2:00 a.m. Sunday on the 2400 block of North 29th Street.

Police say two men burst into a room with guns drawn. A shootout ensued with two other men inside the room.

One of the suspects was killed. The other got away.

Police say one man inside the room was shot several times and is in critical condition.

His friend is being questioned in the incident.

At this point, there is no word on a motive.
