DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a nasty Bucks County crash that left one person dead Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened just before 3:00 at the intersection of Almshouse and Upper State roads in Doylestown.

Police say the driver of a vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say that person was the vehicle's lone occupant.

Their identity has not been released.
