1 injured in crash on Rt. 1 in Chadds Ford

CHADDS FORD, Pa. (WPVI) -- Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a nasty crash in Delaware County that left one person seriously injured.

It was around 4:30 p.m. Friday when two vehicles collided on Route 1 near Webb Road in Chadds Ford.

At least one person was taken to Crozier-Chester Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police had the road shut down in the area while conducting their investigation.

So far, no word on what led to the crash.
