1 person hospitalized after house fire in West Philadelphia

One person is in the hospital after a house fire in West Philadelphia early Friday morning.
The blaze broke out around 3:45 a.m. on the unit block of South Conestoga Street.
Firefighters arrived to heavy flames showing in the rear of the house.
The fire also spread to the upper floors before it was placed under control.
The name of the victim has not been released.
So far, there is no word on their condition.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
