1 person hospitalized after shooting in Gloucester Co., N.J.

WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say one person was hospitalized after a shooting in Williamstown, New Jersey Wednesday night.

Monroe Township Police surrounded a home around 10:00 p.m. on the 700 block of Coles Mill Road.

The victim had been shot and was taken to Cooper Medical Center for treatment.

There is no word on who shot the victim and why.

Police are investigating the shooting.
