ATLANTIC CITY (WPVI) -- Police said a woman is facing charges after striking multiple parked vehicles outside an Atlantic City casino.
Thirty-nine-year-old Joanna Kostas of Mays Landing, New Jersey, is being charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and unlawful taking of means of conveyance.
At 3:05 a.m. Friday, police responded to the Tropicana Hotel and Casino valet area for a report of a vehicle striking multiple parked vehicles.
Upon arrival, police said Kostas was already detained by hotel security officers.
Police said Kostas entered an unoccupied vehicle waiting in a valet lane to be parked with the keys in the ignition. While attempting to leave, she struck four parked, unoccupied vehicles.
Kostas was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for nonlife-threatening injuries.
