NEW YORK (WPVI) -- Miss Universe spoke out for the very first time this morning, after that awkward crowning moment seen around the world.

Last month, host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Miss Colombia as the winner of the pageant.

Seconds later, he was forced to correct his mistake live on the air.

Over the weekend, Miss Colombia told a local radio station the mistake was "a great injustice."

She wants to share the Miss Universe crown with Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines.

Monday morning, Wurtzbach responded on Good Morning America.

"I think it would be a little bit difficult for 2 girls to share a crown, but I have high hopes that this will give great opportunities for me and Miss Colombia," she said.

Wurtzbach also said she reached out to Miss Colombia over Christmas, to make sure she was okay.
