High levels of carbon monoxide forced several residents from their homes in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia.

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- High levels of carbon monoxide forced several residents from their homes in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. Tuesday on the 3700 block of North 5th Street.

Fire crews and PGW were called to the scene after carbon monoxide was detected in three houses on the block.

Officials say thirty people were temporarily displaced. Fire crews requested SEPTA to provide a bus for those residents.

There were no injuries reported.
