ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Firefighters were on the scene of fire inside a mosque that spread to other businesses in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The fire broke out around 4 a.m. Wednesday at the Masjid Al-Furqaan Mosque on the 1200 block of Atlantic Avenue.

Officials say the fire originated in a heater room, and does not appear to be suspicious.

Two air conditioning units fell through the roof. There were no injuries reported.

Smoke and water damaged a barbershop beneath the mosque on the first floor.

An Atlantic City Sewage Company also had minor damage to the windows.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
