Police are searching for the suspects in connection with an armed robbery at a recreation center in West Philadelphia.

WEST PHILADELPHIA -- Police are searching for the suspects in connection with an armed robbery at a recreation center in West Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. on December 18 at a center on 57th and Haverford Avenue in the Haddington neighborhood.

According to police, two 14-year-old males were outside, along with other teens when they were approached by two males pointing handguns.

The suspects demanded the teens give them their property.

One of the suspects grabbed the first victim's iPhone 6 and a red hover-board. The other suspect took the second victim's book bag filled with clothing.

Both suspects then fled the scene towards Callowhill Street.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 17-18-years-old, 5'9" -5"10" tall and stocky build. He was wearing a brown puffy coat with a black hooded sweatshirt underneath,

blue jeans, and black skully.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 17-18-years-old, 5'6" tall and thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black skully.
