Driver hurt after vehicle crashes into Lawndale used car parking lot

LAWNDALE (WPVI) -- A driver was injured after their vehicle crashed into a used car parking lot in Philadelphia's Lawndale section.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Levick Street and Oxford Avenue.

Police say the 41-year-old driver lost control and the vehicle landed on its side.

That person was trapped and had to be cut from the vehicle.

The victim suffered head injuries and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

One of the used cars was damaged in the crash.

It's not clear on why the driver lost control.
