Gunfire injures male victim in Germantown

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in Germantown.

It happened near West Penn Street and Germantown Avenue before noon Thursday.

Officers arrived to find a male victim who was injured by gunfire.

Police took him to Einstein Medical Center.

There was no immediate word on his condition.

An investigation is underway.
