MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) -- Residents in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, have been asked to limit their water usage after a sewer main break.

The pipe that broke in the early morning hours Wednesday along Hartford Road carries about 80 percent of the town's sewage, officials said.

Residents were asked Wednesday night to limit their use of water until the pipe is fixed.

The broken sewer main is expected to be repaired Thursday morning.

Without that pipe, workers had to use trucks to haul the sewage to the wastewater treatment facility.
