WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) --A barricade situation that brought police and SWAT teams to a West Philadelphia neighborhood ended after more than two hours.
The barricade started around 4:30 a.m. Saturday on the 4900 block of Chestnut Street.
Officers responded to the area after neighbors heard gun shots coming from the third floor of the rear of a house.
The man refused to open the door for officers, police said, which led to the barricade and SWAT team response.
He was taken into custody without incident, police said.
There were no injuries reported.
Police said no weapon has been recovered and no charges have yet to be filed.
