A special observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday took place Sunday with a very special guest at a church in Germantown.

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- A special observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday took place Sunday with a very special guest at a church in Germantown.

The Rev. Dr. F. Willis Johnson, senior pastor of Wellspring Methodist Church in Ferguson, Missouri, spoke to the congregation at the First United Methodist Church.

Dr. Johnson played a key role in the community response to the shooting death of Michael Brown who was killed by a police officer.
