1 hurt after car goes off Roosevelt Blvd., hits tree

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- One person was hurt after a car went off the Roosevelt Boulevard and into a tree late Monday morning.

It happened around 11 a.m. on the inner lanes near 4th Street.

The view from Chopper 6 showed the tire tracks from where the car went off the road.

Police have not said why the driver lost control.

That driver was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.

Traffic was tied up in the area until police could clear the wreck.
