VIDEO: Arctic air receives chilly response
Days like this are particularly tough for people who use public transportation.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The arctic air brought more biting winds to the Delaware Valley on Tuesday morning.

This week's weather has been a departure from the above normal temperatures we have often seen this winter.

But there's no more confusion as to which season you're in!

The temperatures were in the teens as the sun came up, but the wind chills make it feel like the single digits.

But, not everyone is complaining. Up at Bear Creek Mountain Resorts, skiers have rejoiced that the conditions have been finally cold enough to keep the snow on the slopes. And, the change came right in time for the holiday weekend.

"Not only did we not have snow, but we also didn't have cold weather. We can survive without natural snow, but without the cold weather, we can't even make snow here," said Jeff Zeller of Bear Creek.

A lot of questions are rising over the possibility of snow this weekend. We will have to wait and see, but it does feel like winter is finally here.
