Overturned truck affects traffic on I-476 south in Souderton, Pa.

SOUDERTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- The southbound lanes of the Northeast Extension were closed for hours as crews worked to clear an overturned truck in Souderton, Montgomery County.

The truck overturned around 1 p.m. Tuesday around mile marker 34, just before the Lansdale interchange.

The truck was loaded with fruit, which spilled on the roadway.

The tractor-trailer was the only vehicle involved in the incident. The driver was flown by medical helicopter to Paoli Hospital for treatment.

There is no word at this time what caused the crash.
