Mayor Kenney reads to pre-schoolers

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Mayor Jim Kenney spent some time reading to pre-schoolers in Northeast Philadelphia Tuesday.

Kinder Academy is one of the newest pre-school establishments in the city that have been granted funding under a initiative called "pre-counts."

It's an effort to give more kids ages 3 to 4 access to early education.
