EMS worker injured in Montgomery County house fire

LOWER MORELAND TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Fire crews are battling a blaze that has left an EMS worker injured in Montgomery County.

The fire broke out just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Welsh Road in Lower Moreland Township, Pennsylvania.

Upon arrival, officials said heavy fire was showing from the home.

The fire was knocked down as of 5 p.m., officials said.

A male EMS worker was injured and taken to a local hospital for nonlife-threatening injuries.

No word yet on the cause of the fire.
