UberX driver: People still need to get to work

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- It's not just snow plow drivers on the road Saturday amid the blizzard conditions.

Even though officials are imploring drivers to stay off the roads, there are some people who need to venture outside.

That includes those who aren't getting a day off from work.

Action News caught up with an UberX driver in King of Prussia out who was drumming up business by venturing out in this severe weather.

"Business has been really good," said Jamie Landers. "Not a lot of people on the road, but a lot of people still need to get to work. So I'm out there driving doctors to hospitals, and people whose cars are stuck back home.

At noon Saturday, Action News reporter Gray Hall measured about 21" of snow in King of Prussia.
